About the Webinar​

​This webinar will cover the very basics of hop selection. It will highlight the main objectives of selections, explain how to evaluate hops and identify physical flaws in samples. In addition, it will detail some best practices for preparing for selections in advance. ​​

​About the Presenter​

TPitra.jpg Tiffany Pitra is the Hop Sensory Panel director at Hopsteiner in Yakima, Washington. She has worked with the R&D department for three years; developing the sensory program, managing the research greenhouse, and serving as the department administrator. Tiffany has a B.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa and is currently completing the Certificate of Applied Sensory and Consumer Science from University of California, Davis. This is her first year with the ASBC Sensory Subcommittee. Tiffany spends her free time reading, hiking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
