Content “Taggers” for ASBC Extract
Volunteers are needed to organize content for Extract, a new ASBC online tool that allows users to find content on specific topics and subtopics from across the society’s online resources. Work will involve “tagging,” or categorizing, individual items of content, such as meeting proceedings, according to a pre-defined list of topics and content types. Volunteers should have basic computer and data entry skills; some experience with SharePoint is desirable. A wide breadth of brewing chemistry knowledge will be helpful to tag the variety of content topics. Each volunteer is asked to commit 15–20 hours during a 4-week period.
