The ASBC Methods of Analysis, 14th Edition (MOA) online is available only via Internet subscription to companies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations. Authorized users at these institutions must agree to the terms and conditions herein.Authorized users include employees, students, and patrons at locations where the MOA is available by subscription. Authorized users may print, download, utilize calculators and spreadsheets, view videos, and access all enhancements. MOA files may be shared with other authorized users at the same location as long as the MOA subscription is currently active at that location. Information in the MOA may be utilized for private research and studies and may be cited and referenced, but may not be reproduced publicly without prior written consent of ASBC
Single-User Subscriptions are included with individual ASBC memberships (personal access to professional and honorary members), and single-site access to corporate membership). These members may use the methods in their work but may not distribute individual methods or worksheets or reproduce the MOA in any form for client companies that do not also have a subscription.
Individual methods may be purchased, but may not be shared outside a single laboratory setting where the purchaser is employed.
Subscribing institutions are solely responsible for limiting access to their employees, patrons, or students. These users may not systematically download, copy, reproduce, re-engineer, republish, resell, or redistribute MOA content.
Customer Support and Limitation of Warranties and Liability: ASBC warrants that the MOA will generally be available to authorized users at subscribing companies, except during server maintenance and upgrades, or under unforeseen circumstances. ASBC will make a reasonable effort to answer technical questions concerning access to the MOA and supports the MOA only if it is used under the terms and conditions designated by ASBC Any technical assistance that ASBC may provide to the customer is provided solely as a service to the customer, and ASBC assumes no liability. ASBC makes no warrant that the MOA is free from bugs, errors, or omissions. ASBC is not responsible for any subscriber expense resulting from access to or use of the MOA, including links to third party sites or suppliers.
While the ASBC Technical Committees and the publisher have used their best efforts in preparing these methods, they make no representations or warranties with respect to their accuracy or completeness and specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Users must assure themselves by appropriate validation procedures that these methods and techniques are reliable and accurate for the users’ intended purposes. Reference to any commercial materials, equipment, or processes does not in any way constitute approval, endorsement, or recommendation by ASBC, and no warranty may be created or extended by sales representatives in written sales materials. Neither the technical committees nor the publisher shall be liable for any loss of profit or any other damages, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential, or other damages that may occur to individuals or organizations because of the use of these methods.
ASBC may change terms of use at any time and is the sole determiner of license levels and access criteria to the MOA.
